Coaching for meaning and purpose

We live in a volatile, uncertain, and complex world filled with bewildering ambiguity and constant upgrades. Big Data, Algorithms, and Digital empires are part of our daily reality. We have more information, yet we work with more uncertainty. We are hyper-connected, distracted, and stressed, with little or no time to think.

How I Work

My coaching approach is designed to help you discover greater meaning and purpose. I draw upon the work of Holocaust survivor Dr. Viktor Frankl as a foundation and combine this with mindfulness. Renowned for his book ‘Man’s Search for Meaning,’ Frankl offers insights into thriving during challenging times. His approach to life, called Logotherapy, serves as a simple yet powerful philosophy for uncovering deeper meaning and purpose. It assists us in recognising this in the face of adverse conditions.

Life often revolves around our ability to transform challenges into triumphs, and we truly come alive when we assert our defiant will to pursue our beliefs. The key lies in knowing how to achieve this.

I combine meaning with mindfulness. Over the past 17 years, I have facilitated more than 40 mindfulness journeys to India and Nepal, and I collaborate directly with the Office of the Dalai Lama. This experience has enabled me to develop a unique coaching approach.

My driving forces are to remain relevant, make a positive difference, and explore new opportunities. I believe in this work; I know it is necessary. I resonate with it, and I’ve seen how it can positively impact people. I see myself as an explorer, not necessarily of the physical kind, but one who ventures into mental spaces that can be daunting. Managing spiritual vertigo is part of what I do.

Work With Me

Who am I?

I'm a transition coach who helps people find their groove.

I help individuals discover meaning and find a renewed sense of purpose.

For more than a decade, I have led mindfulness sessions with the Tibetan community in India. From them, I learned an important lesson: don’t worry too much about why things are the way they are; focus on what you can do to improve life for yourself and for others. This insight guides how I coach and design workshops.

When I'm not working, you’ll find me on my mountain bike or out for a trail run. I’ve completed eight full-distance Ironman triathlons, three Cape Epics, about fourteen Sani2Cs, and many other stage races. Exercise is a daily practice for me. Although way in the back, I love doing some exercise.
